- Brother Furnace
This Vacuum Carbon Tube Furnace is a high-temperature heating system designed for thermal processing under vacuum or a controlled protective atmosphere. Featuring carbon-based heating elements and a high-purity graphite heating chamber, it offers excellent temperature uniformity, low thermal mass, and rapid heating and cooling performance. With a maximum operating temperature of up to 2200°C, it is suitable for demanding industrial and laboratory applications.
The furnace features a vertical cylindrical chamber, making it suitable for sintering metal powders, advanced ceramics, and other non-metallic materials. It can also be used for the sintering and purification of optical materials, as well as high-temperature material research requiring a clean, controlled processing environment.
Key Features
High-temperature performance: Maximum operating temperature of up to 2200°C.
Vacuum and protective atmosphere: Supports vacuum processing and protective gases such as argon and nitrogen.
Excellent temperature uniformity: The graphite heating chamber provides stable and uniform heating conditions.
Rapid heating and cooling: Graphite's favorable thermal properties help shorten processing cycles.
Water-cooled double-layer shell: Stainless steel inner layer and carbon steel outer layer enhance structural reliability and cooling performance.
Advanced temperature measurement: Combines a W-Re thermocouple with an infrared thermometer for accurate temperature monitoring.
Intelligent control: Available with PLC-based automatic control or PID temperature control.

Industrial Applications
The Vacuum Carbon Tube Furnace is widely used in powder metallurgy, advanced ceramics, optical material processing, and materials science research. Typical applications include high-temperature sintering, material purification, and thermal treatment of specialty materials under vacuum or inert gas protection.
Important: Because the heating elements and insulation contain graphite, the furnace must not be operated in an oxygen-containing atmosphere at high temperatures. Nitrogen or argon can be used as protective gases under suitable operating conditions.
